Preservation with dignity, accessibility, inclusion, and compassion
Through this digital archive project, it’s my hope to tell the stories of Italiani and Italoamericani like the art of cuntisti; weaving words, facts, and history into these images.

About
C’era una volta (once upon a time) our ancestors had no connection to one another, but through their stories. I hope to keep this alive by telling their stories; sharing the struggles and journeys that they have traveled in Italia, to l’America, and the paths that we talk. I started this project to tell the stories that we may not know, but our ancestors lived.

Accessibility
This is the first accessible Italo-archive. As our ancestors age, the need for access matters. Captions, descriptions of videos and images. Our ancestors didn’t have accessibility in this newfound land. With this knowledge, we commit to offering accessibility and kindness in all forms.
